I was craving for some good beef noodle in Malacca, and my friends, Kyan and Monica, brought me to this corner shop, located right in the city, called Restaurant Sup Lembu Tangkak. They also claimed this restaurant is one of the best beef noodle houses in this historical city.

Its existence since 400 years ago, Cheng Hoon Teng is a nailless building, not even a single nail on the structure! You must be curious, how can a building built without using nail?

“Nothing so complicated, imagine, what on earth a nail was in that century?” Josephine L. C. Chua, a heritage conservation activist, commented.

Joy as Malacca and George Town acquired status of Cultural World Heritage by UNESCO, Cheng Hoon Teng shine brighter then never before. Its architecture, colours, decorations, once again, prove the wisdom and art of the ancestors.

Even though most aspect of Cheng Hoon Teng was not black-and-white recorded, but it show everything “as is” since built.
